We arrived early and was told we could not check in unit 3:00pm. We enjoy AC and usually stay at the Tropicana. Me and my husband were excited to spend a night at this property to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. We found a restaurant on the casino floor that was more reasonable, Cafe 500, but. After sitting down and looking at the menu we quickly got up and left.
The only complaint we had was for breakfast we stopped in at Harpers on the lobby floor. Back down stairs we found the staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom is big with huge shower and double sinks. And the view from the floor to ceiling windows was down the boardwalk looking down on all the other resorts and the ocean. When we did go up to our room on the 48th floor the only words were Wow! The room is big, modern and clean. Had lunch at Wahlburgers and that was fun. My husband requested a high floor for the room so we were willing to wait. The escalators are kind of scary and I tried not to look down. Much different from the other properties in AC. We explored and went to the casino to play a little bit.
